4. Grab your notebook, pens and highlighters


5. Answer the following Bible Study Questions:

EXPLORATION

1. What does it mean to present your body as a living sacrifice for God?


2. Dwight Mood observed, "The problem with a living sacrifice is that it keeps crawling off the altar."  What does that say about our tendency. to hesitate in surrendering ourselves to God?


3. What do you think Paul means when he says you should be "transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2)?


4. What tends to hinder Christians from thinking and acting like parts of one body?


5. What advice does Paul offer about getting along with one another in thee body of Christ?


6. What does it mean to "keep your spiritual fervour " (v.11)? How can this help you to continue to look for ways to serve the Lord?

1. Why is it difficult to resist comparing our gifts with other believers in Christ? Why is it often hard to resist wishing we had their "role" in the body of Christ?


2. How hard is it for you to be patient when your abilities don't seem to be needed or you are having a hard time fitting in the local church body? Why?


3. What are some areas of your life where you need to be more patient and seek God's will?


4. What spiritual gifts do you think God has given you? How has this enabled you to be a part of "God's hand"?


5. How have you seen your gifts come alongside and enhance the gifts of others?


6. What does it mean to be "transformed" and serve God with all your heart?
